Cuisine: Middle Eastern
Location: Trinoma 4th level i think!
perhaps it was the sun. but when papa said that he wanted to try the persian restaurant before we went to the supermarket, i just got happy. persian food always makes me think of dumaguete --- and the sun, and the water nearby (of course the whole me just being myself out there helped too!)

i ordered chicken kebab with the rice (chelo chicken i think they call it) but the waittress suggested that i share with papsy since he had ordered biryani rice along with his lamb chops. so great right?

and the food was incredible. i didn't taste papa's lamb chops, but the chicken? oy. grabe lang. tender and really tasty. the spices they used must have been the real deal, hindi siya prepacked ala best buy. and the rice was fantastic. really filling though.

though i was surprised that i had to order the garlic yogurt sauce separately. AND grabe lang ang prices. even if i had two meals with that one order (i had the leftovers for dinner) ----- it still felt overpriced.

maybe because kebabs are usually kinda cheap, right? but these were just fantastic though. grabe lang.

the place was your usual mirror world idea of what a middle easter resto looks, and the music was strangely enough, really lively spanish guitar music.

do i recommend it? well, yes. but see if you can share it with someone and make sure you're there to splurge lang talaga. except really splurging on kebabs? it just doesn't make sense to me.

it bears repeating though ---- really fantastic flavorful tender chicken.
